Physics Education Research
Since 1995 my main research interest have been in Physics Education
Research. I'm specially interested in the teaching process and
how it can be adapted to help students to acquire a good functional
understanding. My main focus have been on how changes and innovations
in the laboratory can help students in their learning.
I have founding from the Swedish National Agency for Higher
Education, Council for Renewal of Higher Education for a project
named Experientially based physics
instruction - using hands-on laborations and computers. The
main focus on this project have been the use of Microcomputer
Based Laboratory (MBL) in introductory and advanced mechanics
courses. This project will soon be concluded and a final project
report will be published in English and Swedish. Some of the papers
below are also a result of this project.
Recently I have received a new grant from the Swedish National
Agency for Higher Education, Council for Renewal of Higher Education
for a project named Activity-based Education in Basic Electricity
and Circuit Theory.
